Speranza, the Organization

​Speranza is an organization that began meeting in April of 2024. You can follow these links to learn about the beginnings of Speranza and about our music director and board.

Speranza is sponsoring a community singing event on February 2nd, partly to invite people who love choral music to consider joining Speranza Chorale, which will begin rehearsing in September of 2025.

Speranza Chorale

​

Speranza Chorale is a singing group that will begin rehearsing in September of 2025. The name 'Speranza' comes from the Italian word which means 'hope' or 'trust.' Our board chose this name because hope is brought into our lives as we sing the most beautiful choral works. Trust is the foundation for all good choral
singing, because our voices are the most personal instrument.

 

An audition is required for admission to Speranza Chorale, but professional vocal training is not a requirement. The ability to listen is a requirement. Like most great singing ensembles, Speranza Chorale will be comprised of people who sing for the
love of singing.
